Founded in 2010 in Chittagong, Bangladesh, Savedoor began as a small community initiative by a group of teachers and social workers who saw the desperate need for support among underprivileged girls, malnourished children, and disabled persons left behind by mainstream society.
What started as a single tuition center serving 30 children has grown into a full-fledged welfare organization operating across 12 districts, running 6 core programs, and touching over 10,000 lives annually.
Our name “Savedoor” symbolizes our mission — to be the door through which the most vulnerable step into safety, dignity, and opportunity.
A Bangladesh where every girl has access to quality education, every child grows up healthy and protected, and every person with a disability lives with dignity and equal opportunity.
To deliver sustainable, community-driven welfare programs that educate, heal, empower, and protect the most marginalized individuals in Bangladesh through holistic support systems.
Every decision we make is rooted in deep empathy for the individuals and communities we serve.
We maintain full transparency in our operations, finances, and impact reporting to all stakeholders.
We celebrate diversity and ensure our programs are accessible to people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Our programs are designed to create lasting change, not dependency, empowering communities long-term.
Every taka donated is tracked and reported. We are fully accountable to our donors and beneficiaries.
We continuously seek new and better ways to deliver our programs and expand our reach and impact.
